How to get SwagBucks Referrals
Ever had that call from a call center agent that mentions products or upgrades which you know you don't care about? Don't you just hate the way they ask you to do something for their benefit? When you invite a friend to Swag Bucks, it isn't that different.
Here are some DO's and Dont's that you can practice to increase your chances of getting a referral:
1. Do wait until the person is in a good mood. Don't ask them for something after a stressful event has happened to them. For example, don't ask them when they just got home from school/work looking like Shrek. Chances are, they'll just blow you off.2. Do make it seem like you are doing them a favor. Don't make it look like you need their help FO. Tell them how much help SwagBucks is gonna be FOR them. Mention some of the items or gadgets they have been longing for. Perhaps you can say: "This is your chance to get that iPod Touch that you have been longing for!"
3. Don't ever sound desperate, as if you REALLY want something. Because then you will sound pushy. You do not want to give them the idea that there's more in it for you than for them. You will definitely sound like that agent being talked about. Act like it's no big deal. If they say no, you should stop being persistent, and maybe ask them again a few days later.
4. If they still say no, then you have to consider the reasons as to why they would not try it out. Are they afraid that SwagBucks is a scam? Do they think it's a waste of time? By genuinely listening to their concerns, you can think of methods on how to counteract their worries.
5. If you have been in this business in a long time, show them photos, videos or any proofs of the Shirts, IPhones, or PSPs that you got from SwagBucks. (Try not to be sneaky and 'pretend' that you got your other gadgets from SwagBucks) ;)
and..
6. The most important tip that I can give you, is to NEVER be discouraged! A good businessman would consider his day a success when he is able to dispose atleast 1 of his product out of the 10 people that he have had encountered. Now make it a goal to invite a hundred people! Once you get atleast 10 ACTIVE friends or so, your SwagBucks will start rolling in!
